New Device Capable of Stopping Shark Attacks

A new device has been made which has the ability to stop shark attacks.  It is a pod device that an individual straps to their body while swimming.   This device emits a shark-specific signal that deters the shark from coming close to the individual.

Ideally researchers of this technology want to place these devices along the ocean floor, in order to create a barrier between surfers/swimmers, and these dangerous sharks.

However, even with the amount of Great White sharks on the rise, there is simply not enough funding to undertake such a project.

For now shark spotters will continue to do their jobs.
