|Carver - Carver Santa Cruz (25'8"): Santa Cruz 26|
Great trailer boat. Love the layout and storage. Mine is an '84
and totally stock on the inside. Could do without the flybridge,
which makes boat too tall for width. Also very ill-handling at slow
speed, and almost impossible to get into a slip when windy.
Other than that, makes great getaway condo on the water.

Just purchased. needs some TLC. From what I seen so far it looks sturdy. I am surprised by the things I found still working. I.E. the stove, refrig.,running water, etc. It has a Ford 351 gas engine and a OMC drive. All seem OK. The transom seal needs to be replaced,Its kinda dry rotted. Great project though.

We love our Carver, spent several weekends just cruising our local lakes and camping on it. It's so relaxing. Plenty of space for 4 people and very easy to dock, you'ld think it had side thrusters. Small enough to trailer up and down our mountains with out any trouble.

We are the second owner of this well maintained cruiser. Excellent boat for the family of 4. We
spend weeks aboard and enjoy the space/storage.
Handles the big water very well, great on fuel and
still gets the looks and comments at the dock. We
trailer with a Jeep Grand Cherokee (diesel) and
it's a great handling tow boat. Newer boats
sacrifice room for style. We plan keeping this
boat for a long time. Trim tabs are must for this

|Carver - Carver Montego (22'11"): Good older boat|
Carver built a great little cabin cruiser. Well built, designed and executed. They were the smallest of three Montego's in 1989 so they were outshined by the bigger siblings. Now rather rare they look like a minature yacht.
