Boston Whaler - 13' Dauntless: solid and fun Have towed this tender all over the Bahamas. It is very well made and trouble free. Needs a 50 hp engine due to the weight of the hull (650 lbs) The vee hull design is stable and dry. Reviewed by ron g on Sep-19-2009 | Rating: |
Boston Whaler - 15' Dauntless: Boston Whaler Makes The Best Boats! We use this boat on a lake in Virginia in the summer time and then in the florida ocean the rest of the year. She handles like a big boat and we love the stability. The only thing with whalers, is that the storage and layout is usually pretty basic, but this just mean it is easier to clean and less to maintain! Reviewed by Kay on Aug-05-2009 | Rating: |
Boston Whaler - 15' Dauntless: Love this boat 1995 Dauntless with a 50 Honda 4 stroke.
This boat handles big water nicely. Cruises at over 10mpg. WOT 34 mph. Water ski, wake board, fish. It does each of those tasks quite well.
Rated for 6 passengers but realistically that's a bit much. You would need more HP than I have and nice weather since 4 of those adults would be in the bow. It does handle 4 adults very well.
Self bailing deck is a plus. Reviewed by Steve on Jul-27-2009 | Rating: |
